The Haven of Portage County’s Warming Center, with the support of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Portage Community Chapel, will be serving those experiencing homelessness with dignity and respect by providing a safe and warm place for homeless to get in out of the cold during the winter months when temperatures are 20 degrees or below.

The Warming Center is located at 251 West Spruce St. in Ravenna.

Hours for the center are from 5:00 pm until 8:00 am, Monday through Sunday, including holidays. The center offers open intake from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm each night. After 10:00 pm the police or hospitals can refer guests.

To keep the doors open, several volunteers from area churches and the community are needed to staff the center. We appreciate any support you can provide to the warming center and our guests! Complete the form below to become a volunteer.

We also will accept monetary donations and donations of soup, chili, pizza, or sandwiches.

The Haven of Portage County exists to provide rest and restoration to the vulnerable of Portage County

through holistic healing in the name of Jesus.
