Our partners recognize the need in Portage County for housing solutions for the homeless and trafficked and have come alongside us to meet the need: with donations, practical help, and pledges to work together. The Haven's mission is to provide rest and restoration to the vulnerable but in that, we aren't out to reinvent the wheel and duplicate services and help already in place in our county. Instead, we want meet needs where we know that gaps exist - a place to stay for those without a home, help for trafficked women, solutions for transitional housing. Whenever possible, we will work with partners and services already in place for rehab, counseling, medical care, and other needs that good people are already working hard to provide.
